Iona is the co-founder of Prayer, Praise, and Pecan Farm Church, established alongside her husband, Jeff, in response to the closure of many churches during the COVID pandemic. Recognizing the need for community and worship, they decided to meet in the open air, creating a welcoming space for all. With a decade of experience as a licensed lay minister in the Anglican Church, she has dedicated herself to fostering spiritual growth and community engagement. Her educational background includes theological studies at the Masters Theological College in Southern California and Ridley College in Australia, equipping her with a solid foundation in scriptural understanding and church leadership. In addition, Iona brings strong leadership skills honed through her athletic experiences as a competitive skier representing Great Britain and as a member of the Irish equestrian team. Notably, she helped initiate and coordinate the Global Sustainability Network, a nonprofit organization focused on combating human trafficking, working in collaboration with the Vatican and the Church of England. Prayer, Praise and Pecan Farm Church is a Bible-believing congregation that holds firmly to the literal interpretation of Scripture. They uphold God’s Word with great reverence, refusing to compromise on its teachings. This steadfast commitment shapes their faith and community life, emphasizing the importance of adhering closely to biblical truths.
